The Lotus Flower, is a beautiful plant that floats on the surface of water and its beauty is nourished through its roots in the mud. Its roots go deep into the water and draw on the nutrients it finds in the mud at the bottom. It remains beautiful, untouched by the dirt around it. (This is a metaphor for our lives.)
But the Lotus Flower is also significant for a second reason. It is a plant that flowers and seeds at the same time. It beautifully illustrates the profound working of life where the effect is simultaneous with the cause. It signifies the process of cause and effect at work deep within the life of each person.
As we go about our daily lives, in every single moment, we make causes in the things that we think and say and do. The law of cause and effect explains that when we make a cause, the anticipated effect of that cause is stored deep in our lives, and when the right circumstances appear then we experience the effect.
In a nutshell, the law of cause and effect lies in what we think and say and do.

Human Awakening is liberation from and transcension of this duality of cause and effect. In the flowering of the human consciousness lies the seed of this awakening. What appears as a 'cause and effect' to our limited perception is the such-ness of Existence that manifests in our awareness. If, and only if, we choose to dissociate from such intellectual designs and surrender unconditionally to the true nature of dimension-lessness and non-duality of Existence.
i just wonder... does everything needs to have a cause and effect?
If you want to understand the causes that existed in the past, look at the results as they are manifested in the present. And if you want to understand what results will be manifested in the future, look at the causes that exist in the present.
Your present is lost in 'understanding' stuff from the past and the future. Going by this proxy-wisdom, this being the cause, wonder what could be the effect in future?
Also, wonder what causes in the past is making one to loose the present in 'understanding' etc.
The past is not
Nor is the future
It's all divisions of
The manipulative mind.
The present is the Exsitence
Live in it and there is bliss
Be in it, and you are liberated!
